Upendo flowers is a company which focuses on informing buyers about the farms we are representing and the varieties they grow. Some of the farms we are representing supply their products only to the Dutch auction and others will be able to supply to you directly.

This website will give a good insight of the farms represented by Upendo and the varieties that they are growing. As well as a good description of the varieties it also indicates the available lengths, the head size, the quantity per box, the sizes of the boxes and the weight.

When you have a flower shop you will most probably not import flowers yourself, but this does not mean you should not be aware of things like quality, trends or the special features of varieties. By asking your wholesaler for special varieties from specific farms you can improve the quality and offer.

Should you have any remarks regarding the varieties or maybe the way the flowers are packed please contact us and we will coordinate these issues with the farms in order to keep improving our service.

Uhuru Flowers

Uhuru, which means Freedom in the Kiswahili language, is situated on the northern slopes of Mt Kenya near the town of Timau. The farm is at an altitude of 2600m above sea level, making it the highest rose farm in Kenya. The high altitude combined with the latitude, we are just a few kilometers from the equator, allow us to produce premium quality roses year round.
